My name is Donald Forrest Williams. I was the original drummer, founding member, and co-producer of the band Big Wreck from 1992-2003 . I now produce studio quality drum tracks and provide full song production services for established and up and coming artists all from my home personally or via the internet. I also make a pretty good basic Video if needed. My rates are extremely affordable: $175 USD for drum tracks and $900 per full production (for independent artists. Includes drums, production, mixing, mastering). My youtube channel "Produce Music At Home" provides an unfiltered look into the process. Do not hesitate to contact me however unsure you are. Big wreck

Big Wreck was formed in Boston, Massachusetts by lead vocalist Ian Thornley, guitarist Brian Doherty, bassist Dave Henning and drummer Forrest Williams while they were students at the Berklee College of Music.[2] The group began jamming in 1992 and officially formed the band in 1994. After a few years of gigging in the Boston area and Toronto, the band signed to Atlantic Records and released their debut album In Loving Memory Of... in 1997. In the US, their single "The Oaf (My Luck Is Wasted)" reached the top ten on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart in early 1998.[3] Four months later, their follow-up single "That Song" reached the top 40 on that same chart.[3] The band found even bigger commercial success in Canada, scoring 4 top 40 hits on the Canadian Singles Chart.

As the original drummer and a founding member of Big Wreck - one of Canada’s leading rock bands of the 90’s, Forrest Williams left the music industry to raise a family shortly after the original lineup folded. Resurfacing on social media to engage with fans, Forrest created the “Retro Wreck” project, releasing an unused Big Wreck demo from his personal archives to fans who would create an original song using it. It was during this process that he met Scott Maybee, an active musician, and devout Big Wreck fan. Scott’s work on the project showcased his abilities as a lyricist, musician and songwriter, catching the attention of both Forrest and Matt DeMatteo, co-producer of Big Wreck’s debut album “In Loving Memory Of…”. Aside from his involvement during Big Wreck’s formative years, Matt has an extensive musical resume; over the past two decades he has worked with big name Canadian acts like Hawksley Workman, Danko Jones, Big Sugar, Rusty, The Watchmen and many more. While Forrest and Matt have worked together on several projects since Big Wreck (see The Jack Burton Project), they decided it was time to bring Scott into the fold to create something entirely new together, and thus The Forrest Williams Democracy was born. “In Service of the Greater Good” is the band’s debut release. The song blends hard-hitting Bonham-style drums with Sabbath-laden riffs and contemporary production to deliver a sweeping, relentless and unforgiving hard rock epic of our time. About Retro Wreck

Retro Wreck is the brainchild of Donald Forrest Williams, an original member of rock band Big Wreck, who recorded and toured with the group on their first two albums. While engaging with fans of the band online, Forrest began pulling old demo tapes from his personal archives, many of which consisted of ideas recorded with the band in his studio that were not pursued by the group. Instead of simply releasing these tracks outright, he came up with an idea to let fans breathe new life into them. Forrest sent out a call-to-action on Facebook, where fans would write their own songs over unfinished and unreleased drum and bass tracks originally recorded in Forrest’s own studio in 1996, a year before the release of Big Wreck’s debut album “In Loving Memory of...”. Titling this project “Retro Wreck” (a title voted on by fans on Facebook), the first song, “Left Behind” is a time capsule that acts as both a tribute and a nostalgic trip to bring listeners right back to those early days of classic Big Wreck magic. Scott Maybee, an avid Big Wreck fan and active musician and songwriter, wrote the version of the song that was selected as the template for other musicians to build on. The song was released as a digital download via www.producemusicathome.com with all proceeds going towards the development of future songs to support the Retro Wreck project. “Left Behind” is a song written by fans for the fans, and will be released on all major streaming services on Thursday, June 3rd.
